Gurgaon Haryana: To revive the lost and ravishing nightlife of Mumbai city, the Maharashtra Tourism Department Corporation (MTDC), has proposed to use the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai Harbour region and Mahalaxmi for the ravishing friendly nightlife zone.

Mumbai was once known for its electric nightlife. But the ban on pubs and discos, restricting them to play late night music has resulted in the city losing its charm. This has severely impacted the tourist influx in the financial capital and Bollywood city of India. Due to this there was significant decline in the Maharashtra holiday package. To get back the ravishing Mumbai’s nightlife on track, the Maharashtra Tourism Department Corporation (MTDC), has put forwarded the proposal in front of the state government, regarding the revival of the Mumbai’s nightlife. In this regard, the MTDC, has especially spotted the Bandra-Kurla complex (BKC), Mumbai Harbour Region and Mahalaxmi for the nightlife friendly zones. Traveller could now enjoy more while holidaying in Mumbai.

The MTDC MD Parag Jain Nainutiia said that, we are seeking the necessary permission from the government to establish the entertainment zones to those areas which are commercial and resident wise less active. The announcement has come on the wake of Shiv Sena leader, Aditya Thackeray mooted his consent for the nightlife and pubs continue to run till late night. The young Sena leader got positive support from the Rakesh Maria, Police Commissioner of Mumbai. The top cop said that the city has an adequate police force to tackle any law and order situation. If the decision is implemented, it will be a big boost not only for the resumption for the Mumbai’s nightlife but will also boost the tourism in the state.
