Gurgaon, Haryana: Emirate airline has released a heavy traffic advisory for passengers travelling from Dubai on weekend June 26-27, due to heavy traffic.

The Dubai-based Emirate airline has issued a peak traffic airport advisory for its passengers travelling from Dubai. The carrier spokesperson has said, June 25-28 to be a peak airport traffic days, because of passengers making frequent to and fro due to the summer holiday season. In a further release, the international carrier has asked the travellers to arrive early to avoid any hassle. Passengers can arrive at the terminal six to three hours early before departure, reports TravelDuniya.com.

Keeping in view the rush, the apex carrier has made all the arrangements to expedite the check-in process. The Emirate has also announced exclusive and special family areas, including 10 check-in counters at terminal 3. Customers are encouraged to check-in online and carry their own luggage and baggage for fast check-in. Emirate has warned passengers arriving late and not able to complete the check-in, in less than 60 minutes will not be allowed to board the flight. Tourists looking to travel to the luxury destination must avoid and can later go for Dubai holidays packages. It is estimated that 62,000 passengers will board the flight on June 26.

In a further statement, the flight has especially urged the passengers travelling to UK, US and Canada to fully charge their electronic devices prior to the boarding the flight. They will be asked to switch off their electronic devices on the various boarding gates, for checking and to avoid any unnecessary hassle while boarding the flight. Longer queues, due to busy travel periods and heighten security could be experienced by the travellers. All these measures are being taken so that people could enjoy a hassle free holiday while entering and exiting from Dubai. The international airline currently flies to 80 countries over 145 destinations.

Gurgaon, Haryana: The Uttar Pradesh government has carved out a new and unique plan of jointly taking the Hindu and Muslim on a pilgrimage tour.

The new plan chalk out by Uttar Pradesh government could be seen as a way of promoting communal harmony between the two religious groups. The ‘dharmarth karya’ has issued a Government Order (GO) in which 10 Hindu and Muslims devout from 70 districts will jointly take the trip, to visit the holy pilgrimage site of Pushkar and Ajmer Sharif, reports TravelDuniya.com team. The holy town of Pushkar is revered for Hindus and Ajmer Sharif is sacred for Muslims.

Besides Pushkar is also famed for its tourism. The town has numerous temples and is also illustrious for its Pushkar Fair, held in the January and February. The process of receiving the application and subsequently sorting them for the further process has already begun said, Principal Secretary (Religious Works) Navneet Sehgal. The trips will be managed and conducted by the Samajwadi Shravan Yatra, a state-sponsored pilgrimage programme, operated and run under the state government, taking help from Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRTC).
